The new Scott CR1 incorporates a full IMP Carbon frame and forks and is available in standard, compact drive and 30 speed  versions. It made its debut in the Tour de Frances, so it is a performance orientated machine, but is now built with a slightly more comfort orientated rider in mind. The CR1 is designed to be comfortable over distance so it's ideal for Sportif riding.

The rear triangle and forks incorporate 'Shock Damping System', where specific sections of the tube are engineered to offer compliance over uneven roads. These are some of the best looking bikes around, and are from the same family of bikes as those used by Mark Cavendish and the Columbia HTC road racing team. If you're looking for a light fast road bike for fitness, club racing and day-long epics, then the CR1 should be yur mount.
