The ever popular Scott Sportster bikes are great looking, purposeful machines designed to take the rough with the smooth. They have great frame clearance, a comfortable position and sporty looks. The larger 700c wheel size means it rolls well on the roads, while the semi off-road tyres allow you to ride bridleways and rough tracks with ease, making it a great all round option. The Sportsters come in mens and ladies (step through) frames, with suspension forks. From the Sportster 30 model upwards, the bikes come in a mens frame and the new compact 'Solution' frame for women, but also for men requiring a shorter reach and more standover frame clearence.

The new Urban kit is designed to fit on both the Sub and Sportster range. It consists of specific mudguards and a rack. The rack can be exchanged for the Scott MTX rear rack, that can be used with a range of luggage accessories.

The Scott Sportster 30 is the perfect bike for on/off road commuting or leisure riding. The excellent new Sportster frame is light and agile, with good quality componentry added. This model has reliable and powerful Shimano M445 hydraulic disc brakes and Suntour NEX 4610 suspension forks with lockout. Robust Rigida rims and excellent Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres can tackle most terrain and add to this bike's versatility.

The 30 is also available in the all new Solution frame. Ideal for women and men looking for a more compact bike with plenty of standover clearance.

With the addition of the urban kit or other mudguards and rack, this bike is good for short and medium commuting and day-to-day utility use, as well as open road rides where excursions onto flattish tracks and trails are required.
