The Gazelle Street 'Sports' range are Dutch City bikes featuring aluminium frames, hub gearing, contemporary styling and specification. All offer a very upright riding position, which is neverthelsss easily altered at the handlebar stem without tools.
There are three basic frame designs: the contemporary hydroformed shape of the Chamonix; the more traditional round tubes of the Orange, with a more curvy shaped women's frame; and the angular tubing of the Paris, with it's mixte style in the women's.
The geometry will give you a slightly livelier ride than the Street comfort range.
The Gazelle Orange Extra is the premium version of this popular Gazelle. As such, it features a Shimano 8 speed Nexus hub gear with a wider range than the seven or the three speed found on cheaper models. It also features Gazelle's new 'Fendervision' in which the front light is integrated into the mudguard - with an appropriately robust construction to match. At the rear, there is the new 'Slimvision' light which is neatly integrated into the rear carrier, creating effective lateral illumination and and a robust rear grip on the carrier for moving the bike around. Aluminium frame with suspension forks.
