The Genesis iO Series is the ultimate reaction to the harsh riding conditions our little island is sometimes (in)famous for. Building on the Latitude/Altitude MTB series, Genesis has pioneered an affordable hub geared mountain bike to great acclaim from the cycling press. Reynolds steel frames again take care of holding it all together. The bikes can be ridden off road several times with only a little more maintenance than oiling the chain, and then used all week, ready for the next weekend's adventure.

Sharing the same proven steel-framed design as the Latitiude series, but spec'ed with the Shimano Alfine 8 speed internal hub gear and Rockshox Recon Gold forks, the iO iD can be ridden over the same demanding terrain but with less maintenance and fuss afterwards. It's at home around town too and will get you to work on time with no gear issues, derailled chains or twisted mechs. Although currently quite a niche within the world of off-roading, we think that hub-geared mountain bikes are definitely a good idea: neat, functional, no-hassle bikes that won't let you down. Perfect for the mountain biker who commutes and the commuter who dabbles in mountain biking!
