The Tufftrax Comp is a great value quality mountain style bike that is suitable for recreational cycling. At this price it's still a light duty mountain bike, but has an enhanced level of componentry over the entry level bikes from any comparable brand. It will be fine for light off road conditions, or as a teenager's run around, but is not suitable for extreme types of riding.
