The Cougar 1 is a single-seater with a characteristic wedge shape, enabling it to slip aerodynamically through the air as a trailer while providing plenty of space for your feet while you are using it as a stroller or jogger.  The design of this wedge shape might come at the expense of  usable luggage space, but for the large storage hopper hanging off the back of the trailer body.  This can be folded flat when empty, making it easier to walk or run with it as a buggy or stroller. You can also buy a handy roof rack as an accessory.

The spacious ergonomic cabin rides on the Chariot leaf spring suspension, which is adjustable for your child's weight, and guarantees a comfortable ride over most types of terrain.  The Cougar's spoked aluminium wheels roll lightly and silently on high quality bearings, really noticeable when the trailer is kitted as a well-balanced stroller.  While you are pushing the trailer, the useful viewing window in the roof allows you to keep an eye on your child as you go.

One of the best things about the Cougar 1 is its compact size. It is no larger than numerous similarly priced buggies and pushchairs and of course, much much more versatile. You can take it on trains and city buses and it's even narrow enough to comfortably fit inside many of the UK's lousy cycle lanes (we speak from experience!).

Like all Chariot trailers, the Cougar 1 uses the super-simple EZ-hitch bike connection system and flat-packs easily using the patented EZ-fold design and push-button quick-release wheels, to make storage a doddle.  The Cougar 1 is also compatible with the numerous accessories available.

This has been one of our best selling trailers over the years because it looks great and is extremely nimble as a stroller.  In fact, two of us have used this model for regular child carriage so it gets our seal of approval.
