Folding Bikes
Transport problems solved

All folding bikes are now available at our main Hospital Fields Road store.

What could be more useful than a bike that you can take virtually anywhere? A folder is a real transport integrator. Take it anywhere: by car, taxi or public transport. Its foldability allows it to cope with many of the problems associated with day to day cycling. For instance, security is less of a hassle with a bike that you can keep indoors. At Cycle Heaven we have always been fans of folding bikes, in particular as a solution to many of the problems associated with personal transport in urban areas.

Small Wheels Good: nippy and agile

The bikes that we sell are light years away from the notorious "shoppers" of the 1970s that gave folders such a bad name. They get round the problems traditionally associated with small-wheeled bikes by using a combination of appropriate gearing, high-pressure tyres and suspension. In many situations small wheels actually enhance their performance relative to conventional bikes - in urban stop-start traffic conditions small wheels will accelerate quicker , whilst a short wheelbase and light steering make these bikes very agile. Small wheels also make for a smaller folded package that will fit into a cupboard and because folders stay with you, they are genuinely door to door transport, so you don't have to waste time looking for safe parking.
