The Ridgeback Velocity is the brand's first step onto the ladder of rugged and sporty hybrids, introducing a lightweight double-butted aluminium frame propelled and stopped by Shimano's dependable Acera 24 speed componentry. Light and strong wheels wear high quality German rubber fashion, in the form of Continental Contact fast-rolling, puncture resistant tyres. Offering an affordable, sporty ride, the Velocity can be used for medium distance road rides or for more leisurely jaunts. Light, regular commuting duty is always possible once mudguards and rack are added.
