Bikes by Use

This is perhaps the best way to search for the right bike for you. Each bike that we offer will only be classified as one 'type,' but will usually have more than one use. In other words, by searching according to use you will be given a choice of different types that will suit your specified use.

A note on how usage classifications work... We have classed any given bike according to it's 'ideal' usage - basically what it was really designed for. For instance, a classic touring bike may been classed as suitable for Open Road Touring and Open Road Medium distance. This does not necessarily mean that it can't do anything else - be a good day to day utility bike, for instance. As a rule, a bike classed in a more arduous category (say Open Road medium distance) will certainly be able to handle a less arduous one (say Open Road lesiurely), but the opposite certainly does not apply.
