The Gazelle Sports Trekking and Trekking range encompasses bikes built for speed and / or a long range of operation. The common feature of each bike is a design ethos driven by light weight, climbing capability and easy accessibility to distant horizons.

Light weight is usually achieved by use of derailleur gearing, rim braking systems, battery lighting, lightweight components like saddles, tyres and luggage racks.

All, however, embrace the Dutch philosophies of practicality and utility, combining the usual integrated accessories and comfortable ride with low maintenance designs.

Gazelle Cityzen C8 women's

The Gazelle Cityzen C8 is an intriguing and unusual bike in the Gazelle range, achieving an unashamedly sporting stance through technology. The Cityzen adopts a belt-drive to power the Shimano Nexus 8 speed hub gear and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes to provide powerful, reliable braking. Offering light weight, reliability and clean and quiet operation without the need for lubrication, the Conti belt drive system has proved a successful experiment for Gazelle, setting the Cityzen C8 apart from the rest of the Gazelle fleet.  Combined with a sporty lightweight rear carrier and battery lights, the result of this flirtation with "maximum sportiness in a minimalist design" is a relatively light weight urban steed that cuts an elegant dash in the fast lane of the daily commute. Elegant, high-tech and simple, we love it!

Axa frame locks

All Gazelles have a frame lock fitted at the rear of the bike, which immobilises the rear wheel at the flick of a lever. This means that an opportunist thief will have to carry your pride and joy away. If you use it in conjunction with a good D-lock, you have great security.

The lock always comes with 2 keys - if you lose them or damage them, all is not lost. We have outlined all you need to know here.
