At our Bishopthorpe Road store you will find perhaps the largest selection of different kinds of quality bikes in York.
Whether you're lyrca free (townies and commuters are downstairs); or a lycra lover (clothing and sports bikes upstairs), we'll certainly have something to interest you. We are well known for our classic Dutch town bikes from Gazelle (being the UK's oldest dealer); as well as for the wide variety of other bikes that we sell - including road and touring bikes, mountain bikes, other town bikes, hybrids, folders and family equipment. Whilst we stock our full range of folding bikes at York station, our best selling models (including Bromptons) are available here as well.
Cycle Hire is not normally available from this shop, but we can arrange for collections or returns of hire bikes from Bishopthorpe Road if necessary (such as Sundays in winter, when our station store is closed).
We can be found on a lively neighbourhood shopping parade just off York's inner ring road and just up from the riverside cycle path on the the west bank (come up via Clementhorpe).
