Folding Bike Open Evening

Join us for wine and food to listen to representatives four of the best
folding bike brands in the world. Three of them will be demonstrating
new products and you will get a chance to test ride the bikes. The event

We have what we reckon to be the best range of cycle
clothing in the area - now fully stocked up with
masses of clothes and shoes - with both summer and winter items now
on sale: at 30-40-50% off.* We have the biggest selection in
the area. It's displayed in a quiet upstairs showroom when you can try
the garments on away from the bustle of the main shop. What's more:
we will price match anything in clothing
on current lines, so why buy online when you can come to us - a real

It
is time for us to say goodbye to the Cycle Heaven Filbus transporter
bike. A brilliant bike for transporting bulky loads. As a modern design,
it's also much fast and light on the steering - much easier to ride
than traditional transporter bikes. It's in great condition. Equipped
with a straight 9 speed derailleur system (on a Hope rear hub) with
a SRAM Dual Drive shifter (making Dual Drive a cheaper future option).
It also has a Brooks B67 saddle.
Power up to Electric Gazelles
We now have stock of the highly rated
Gazelle Easyglider, described by AtoB magazine as one of the best electric
bikes that they have ever tested. The improved 2008 model is now in

We are an independent, community
based cycle shop, located near the city centre of York, England
(see map for directions).
Started
in 1993, we are a relatively young company, but we've had to grow up
fast in Britain's premier cycling city, because for Yorkies cycling
is more than just a lifestyle - it's a way of life. Yorkies live on
their bikes, and they use them for just about everything you could possibly
imagine. We've cut our teeth in a culture of commuting and utility cycling,
and for this reason you will find that many of the products and services
that we offer are slightly different to that of other shops. Why not

We
keep the wheels of York turning…
We have a very busy and respected workshop and fix thousands of bikes
each year. Work is done by Cytech accredited
mechanics, and we are a Shimano Service Centre.
We can handle all the usual stuff and have developed a particular expertise
in Hub gears (common in York, not so elsewhere); and dynamo lighting
systems. Cycle Heaven also
sponsors North Yorkshire Ambulance Service's
cycle paramedics and supplies cycles and equipment
to the North Yorkshire Police.
This
Website…
..is under continuous development. The main focus on this site is on
the bikes that we sell, but because we are a fully comprehensive bikeshop
we have a vast collection of accessories and clothing which we do not
have the time or the resources to feature here. If you wish to view
the rest of our products then you are welcome to follow the links to
some of our manufacturer's and supplier's websites. Better still, as
we believe in face to face relationships, why not pay us a visit. That
way you can get to test ride our bikes for real!
