Whilst we cannot always guarantee same day service on all repairs we
usually can, and almost all repairs are completed within two days.

Use of Courtesy Bike
Are you stuck without your bike? We have a number of fully equipped
courtesy bikes including Brompton and Birdy folders that we are
happy to lend you whilst your own machine is in our workshop. If
you need a courtesy bike be sure to reserve one when you book your
bike in for repair.

QUALITY WHEELBUILDING
Every good cycle mechanic prides him or herself on the quality of
their wheelbuilding. Like all our work, our wheelbuilding is fully
guaranteed. We work with DT double butted stainless steel spokes
as standard, and Sapim single butted stainless where extra strength
is required. We can build about anything to suit, although if you |

of the more popular packages we probably have them ready to go. These
standard packages are very competitively priced as they don't include
any labour element. Like all our work, our wheelbuilding is fully guaranteed.

Hub Gears
We are one of the few shops in this country that recognises the
virtues of Hub gears, and have therefore built up some fairly
uncommon expertise in this area.

We also
keep good stocks of spares for the most common types of hubs. If you
have a problem with a hub gear that you need fixing, call us. If you
want to convert a bike to hub geared system, call us. If you want your
old three speed building into a modern rim, call us.

What
is CYTECH?
CYTECH stands for the Cycle Technician's Accreditation Scheme a comprehensive
series of qualifications in cycle maintenance set up by the Association
of Cycle Traders to raise standards and improve workshop practice within
the industry. It is the only industry wide recognised certificate of
mechanical competence.
Why
is it Important?
Whilst having CYTECH accredited mechanics is not an
absolute guarantor of the professionalism of a particular workshop,
it is a reliable indicator. Training our staff up to CYTECH accredited
status is an important part of our philosophy. It means we take mechanical
training seriously and we are proud of our mechanic's achievements in
this field. All of the workshop staff at Cycle Heaven are put through
CYTECH accreditation as a matter of course. It underwrites our own confidence
in the work that we do and is just one reason why we can guarantee all
our workshop services, and why we can give away one year's free servicing
on all our new cycles.

(Since 1995)
Shimano
is the Japanese company that manufactures the transmission components
on the overwhelming majority of the world's quality bikes. As a Shimano
Service Centre, Cycle Heaven is their approved agent and service centre.
To achieve this distinction our workshop service has been vetted by
Shimano. As a condition of SSC status we are committed to maintaining
a very well equipped workshop, substantial stocks of spares, and to
work to the highest professional standards which includes having staff
accredited to CYTECH advanced level status.
