Our main repair workshops are Cycle Heaven at the Station and Cycle Heaven at the Angel on Bishopthorpe Road. You can book online at either of these sites on the buttons below. .

You can also use our main store on Hospital Fields Road, but there is limited capacity here - as this this where all our retail bikes are prepared.

Service Packages

For a more comprehensive bike service you can choose from one of our packages. These offer better value because you save money by having a number of jobs done at once. All you pay is a simple flat labour fee with parts charged extra

Tune Up

Std bike £60 / E-bikes £85

A detailed check over with all the key adjustments. E-bike Tuneup includes diagnostics and software update.

Setup

Std bike £90 / E-bikes £120

A thorough service suitable for regularly used bikes. Suitable for fair weather riders. E-bike Setup includes diagnostics and software update.

Refit

Std bikes £130 / E-bikes £180 / E- cargobikes £190

A comprehensive service and deep clean for heavily used bikes. Suitable for commuters. E-bike Refits include diagnostics and software update, motor inspection and clean.

Overhaul

Std bikes from £175 / E-bikes from £225 / E- cargobikes from £235

A love bomb for your bike. Suitable for enthusiasts, bike lovers and abusers! E-bike Refits include diagnostics and software update, motor inspection and clean.

Hourly rate £60

We offer...

Same day service for minor repairs including: punctures; fitting tyres, single cables, brake pads, chains and sprockets.
Same day service when you book in advance. For more substantial work we operate a booking in system. We aim to complete your repair on the day it is brought in, unless any unexpected replacement parts have to be ordered.

Houly rate: £60 per hour.
Shimano Di2 Firmware upgrade £20 (recommended every 6-12 months).
Ebike diagnostics £30/£20. We've been selling ebikes for 20 years and are the largest ebike retailer in York. Our workshops are equipped for ebike servicing and accredited Bosch and Shimano service centres. We charge £30 for a standalone diagnostic check and software update; £20 when it's additonal to any service package.
Wheelbuilding. Custom wheel building is available at all stores, we can build any kind of bicycle wheel, big or small - further details here.
Specialist work. e.g. hub gears - we like hub gears and as a result have built up some fairly uncommon expertise in this area. If you have a problem with a hub gear that you need fixing, call us. If you want to convert a bike to hub geared system, call us. If you want your old three speed hub building into a modern rim, call us.
